How the System Works
Lime (Ca(OH)2) and soda ash (Na2CO3) react with calcium and magnesium to precipitate hardness; lime also raises pH for coagulation and corrosion control. A dosing system continuously prepares a well-mixed slurry and feeds it proportional to flow, supporting reliable softening and stabilised alkalinity in drinking-water and industrial plants.
